This is Envisioning's interactive visualization on the future of food created for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Innovation Accelerator. Use this as an exploration tool to envision the future.

Getting started:

1. Readiness, Impact & Connections
The 128 selected technologies aren't sci-fi, they're already under development or ready for mass adoption. We position them on the map according to their Readiness index.

The impact of each technology is displayed by the size of the bubble.

Technologies are connected to one another according to the issues that they're addressing.

2. Technology card
For each technology, you'll see a complete description, picture, Readiness indexes and a handful of selected attachments that range from academic papers, books, talks, patents, startup websites and media articles.

3. Options menu
You can customize your visualization with this menu: Order by Name, Impact, Readiness or Categories. And some other options

4. Search
You can find specific technologies using this option.

5. Scenarios
We've identified seven scenarios that are shifting the food security landscape. You can browse them clicking their respective icon. We invite you to go beyond the movements we detect and to use the tool to envision and create other future scenarios.
